Modern Renaissance. An impactful display, with an even more powerful message behind it. The details, the story each detail tell is up for your interpretation and will tell a story of war, religion, cruelty, and power. I had to sit for while and stared at this image for like an hour to analyze and take it all in to tell the story behind it. I have my own interpretation of this image, my personal interpretation of this, of how society, views me, treats me and people that look like me. By society I mean all of it, media, social media , the industry, how they picture us and how they butcher us until we hopefully don’t exist anymore for how we look like, how we express ourselves and how we exist. This image also tells a powerful message of how we have the power to still sit tall and and look at those things in the face right in the eye, while not backing down. I was apart of this piece to tell a story, I love doing projects that have impact and tell a powerful story that makes you think, analyze and appreciate the art and it’s purpose.
