This is a long one - The last couple of days have been somewhat of full circle dream come true. 💜 In 2005 I found Shinedown on MySpace and became a huge fan, had them set as my profile song and all! If ya know... ya know. MySpace was awesome! Haha! I was in college and just a girl living in Mesa, Az with some big dreams. I moved to NYC in 2006 and started working for SXM. I met Shinedown at a NYC show during the Sound Of Madness tour in 2008. I ended up seeing them at least 3 times during that album cycle and they’ve always treated me like family. Years later, I’ve seen them more times than I can count. I love them so much, they are some of my favorite people and one of my favorite bands. SiriusXM had them do a small stage performance last night at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC and it was amazing. SD is the first hard rock band to play this type of show for SXM! So cool and I got to host it! ⭐️ A room packed with our listeners and the boys killed it! Celebrating their new album Planet Zero, 20 years of Shinedown and Shinedown Radio that will be on SXM all this month! Such a special night!
