I remember driving to @jadebeerman dorm and crying to her after being fired from GermBlast, a job I thought would be my career. I remember the mental turmoil I went through trying to figure out what I would do in this life that would add value to the world, lead to financial security, and be something that I had passion for. I remember staying up until 3 am during finals week, not to study for exams, but to complete my ISSA online personal training certification. I remember walking into orange theory Lubbock asking to be a coach and being hired on as a sales associate. I remember the first time I taught a group fitness class and realizing that I fking loved performing. I remember interviewing with @zjmorrow and him offering me a job as a personal trainer in Lubbock Texas and the first time realizing I had more than 15 clients.. 15 people.. paying me to do something I love and provide a positive impact in their lives. I remember dropping out of school to move to nyc. Walking into orange theory in chelsea Manhattan, and refusing to leave until I got a chance to meet someone that could interview me @leslie_hobbs_ @liss3tte11 @prothymianutrition . I remember being offered the head coaching position, teaching 25+ classes a week, and falling in love with the nyc group fitness energy. I remember the decision to leave otf and bet on myself. Feeling like I was starting all over again at the age of 25. I remember the first clients that gave me a shot @hay_blum @adamsheltonnyc . I remember the first time I realized that Ive built a 6 figure business.. no degree, no trust fund, no handouts... Just countless hours, thirst traps, caffeine, and an abundance of energy and passion for what I can now call a career. I remember a time when I wondered if I could build a life for myself strictly based on what I love and never changing who I am for anybody.. I love my story. It’s not about the destination. It’s about the journey.
