Too often we attribute too much of our success to luck but that’s typical of @robmillsymills’ humility and kindness (I mean, the man took us out to dinner to a seafood restaurant and HE DOESN’T EVEN EAT IT). In between smashing life as an incredible actor, singer, host, and toothpick connoisseur, Millsy wrote a BRILLIANT new book and we’re so lucky to have him on @seize_the_yay this week. Putting on a Show is the brilliant, thought provoking, witty and warm exploration of the “average Aussie bloke” and the ever evolving (often distorted) concept of masculinity that we didn’t know we needed. It’s honest to a fault (there’s a Courtney Act story in there I didn’t expect!) creating such a safe space to rethink masculinity, “men children”, gender roles and mental health (with Rob’s knack for storytelling shining on throughout).
