Looking at this photo I can instantly hear the seagull that flew by me just at that moment, the waves that crashed against the rock wall I was standing on, and the beautiful familiar sound of my old film camera when the shutter released. I hear the Italian children giggling behind me and can smell the unbelievable aroma of the freshly made pasta from the restaurant on my right. Everything about this sliver in time was perfect, and this photo transports me back every time I see it.
