10 YEARS AND COUNTING 🎂❤️ On November 17 2012, we played our very first show as Polaris, at the Agincourt Hotel in Sydney. For us, this will always be remembered as the night we became a band. Although the lineup was a little different at the time, the vibe and the intention was always the same. We played to a barely half-full room consisting mostly of members of the other bands, and supportive friends and family that we’d begged to come out. We probably sounded shocking, but we played our asses off and came off stage already hungry for the next show. We had big dreams and a lot of determination, but no way of knowing that we’d even still be a band 10 whole years later - let alone one lucky enough to tour the world and experience the things that we have. It’s still something we struggle to process. Whether you’ve been with us from the very start, or only found us recently, we thank you endlessly for giving a group of kids from Sydney a chance to live out those dreams.
