how I spent my Eid 🫶🏽🫶🏽 • • growing up, i never understood the true significance of Eid, especially Eid Al-Adha. I always thought Eid Al-Fitr (the one following Ramadan) was more important and this one didn’t really matter as much so i wouldn’t go to the same extent to celebrate .. but truth is, they are both important! As Muslims, these are the only 2 holidays that we are told to celebrate. Therefore, it’s important to spend them with our loved ones and take the time to really embrace it, enjoy ourselves and refrain from going to school/work/etc. From this day forward, i will make sure i take time off for both holidays (even the days surrounding them tbh) and have the most fun everrrrrrr in sha Allah 💘
