Areas in my toddler’s bedroom: ▫️self-care area ▫️toddler wardrobe ▫️floor bed ▫️play area ▫️reading corner ▫️movement area What makes this Montessori-inspired? Everything is within my child’s height, reach, and perspective. It allows independence and freedom of movement. The neutral color also promotes a sense of calm. The play area extends into our living room and basement so only minimal toys are kept here and rotated. This is not a perfect room. I just do whatever works for my child and our family. Sooner or later, my son will have his own preference and there will be spiderman on the wall, blippi, elmos, and whatnots. So I’m just enjoying this moments now because they don’t last forever:) What’s your ideal toddler bedroom?
