This is why I am obsessed with @lanzahaircare all of their styling products have up to 450° heat protection! So you don’t need an extra heat protector... It’s already there! 👉🏼 if your section is too thick the heat will not penetrate through the top layer... This is often why we tend to hold the iron longer because it’s not making a curl. Then your section out! 👉🏼 keep your iron moving! When we hold it in one spot think about all that heat in that location... You can cook a chicken at 350° and eat it! And think about when you take your 450° iron and hold it in one spot on your hair! Also by moving it your smoothing the cuticle down and creating more visible shine 👉🏼 turn your iron temperature down! You really shouldn’t need it to go about 400 unless your hair is very course... That’s a whole Nother video. But fine hair should be even lower! 👉🏼 Use professional hot tools! The heat is going to be distributed evenly which is always going to make for a safer and better curl... I absolutely love my @babylissprousa 1.5” iron! I never travel without it ♥️ 👉🏼 let your curls cool completely! When they are still warm and you run your fingers through them you are undoing the set. One it’s cool it stays when it’s warm you can still manipulate it. This is why you don’t have to hold iron on the hair very long to set the curl...
