Let’s host a matcha apartment coffeeshop! Welcome back to the hosting series! Where I show you exactly how to host parties effortlessly with my blueprints. This month I wanted to host a matcha themed gathering and here’s how I planned it: - Of course the first step was sourcing some matcha from Japan. We went with a few well known brands and some niche ones. - I made info cards about each brand including the tasting notes and what it would pair best with. The menus, info cards, and signage was designed by me! I do have some menus up on my site for you to use if you need inspiration. - Set up a kakigori station (shaved ice) with red bean paste, dango, and a sweet syrup. I worked with KitchenAid and they kindly sent me the Shave Ice Attachment which turned out great for this party. - Other foods include inari sushi, sweets from muji, and an assortment of tea cakes and cookies made from the same matcha. - I pre made the matcha so everyone could taste. Once you found your fav matcha, there’s a whisk station for you to make your own matcha latte. #tablescape #hosting #howto #dinnerparty #pinterestaesthetic #pinterest #brunch #painting #apartmentcafe #apartmentcoffeeshop #homecafe #baking #cookies #matcha
