Yazoo Yaupon and @yaupontea made a commitment at @clintonglobal to uplift and empower the rural American South using the amazing native #yaupon as a catalyst for generational wealth building. Yaupon farmers exist outside of a broken system, and enjoy more autonomy, agency, and prosperity than the traditional food system would otherwise permit them to. For 8,000 years, Yaupon has been a force for good. A fortifying beverage, a healing medicine, and a sacred purifier - indigenous cultures revere this plant. We will continue to honor the indigenous heritage of Yaupon, as we ask this plant to help us heal ancient divisions and injustices that harm our modern society.
