As a first-time parent, we didn’t know what to expect, and rarely considered the possibility/risk of having our baby at the NICU. In retrospect, not only am I grateful for the amazing care we received at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital but also for the fact that we were able to stay in Brooklyn. Having the hospital close to our home ended up being a game-changer as we seamlessly went back and forth between our home and the NICU multiple times a day for two full weeks.
