Colour Wheat Why neutrals are always so difficult to choose- it is because they are made up of many underlying tones, like black, yellow, and red which are inherent in the pigments as they are derived from the earth. Depending on your light they can appear different if your light is direct, warm Australian or cold Scandinavian, or what colour your floor is, these light and other colour conditions can subtly change the appearance of the colour, this is most important to understand when selecting neutrals.
