We're pleased to announce that tickets to our “75 Years” Partition event are now on sale. Tickets are extremely limited, so do make haste via the link in bio. On Monday 8th August from 7pm we will be holding an evening event marking “75 Years” of Indian Independence and the creation of Pakistan in a unique interpretation of Kavita Puri’s book Partition Voices: Untold British Stories. Guests are invited to join us to hear from Partition survivor Bim, and his daughter Binita Kane as they share personal testimonies and explore the nuanced legacy Partition has had upon their family, partaking in an intimate Q&A. Renowned musician Soumik Datta will then regale the crowd with a captivating piece of music inspired by and composed especially for the event. Chef Naved and the team will be cooking up a celebratory three-course feast to be served thereafter featuring favourites such as Biryani, Ruby Murrays and House Black Daal, along with first-class Small Plates, hand-made Breads and finished with sweet puddings. Tickets include entrance, live performances, a welcome drink, complimentary chai and Mithai and a three-course Dishoom feast.
