Maybe its the fact I grew up eating saganaki at my mate Andrew Mihaelidis' house when I was 13? Maybe it's because I used to love Nick Giannopolous in Acropolis Now when it was on TV in the 90's? Maybe it's because Ange Christou used to be my favourite Carlton FC player in the halcyon Blues days? Or maybe it's just because Greek food, culture, hospitality is some of the best in the world. Regardless of why I love it in Greece so much is was an incredible honour to be a part of the judging panel for the World Class Greek Finals this week in Athens. The team here did an incredible job to execute such a wonderful final. Well done to the entire local team and the amazing final 12 bartenders that competed yesterday. Special congratulations to @iwsif_z who took the final and booked his spot to Sydney in September. I can't wait to be back in Greece!
