Into Sight is a life-sized media platform installation, where Sony Design plays on sensorial effects that transform simple boundary surfaces into an infinite vista through shifting light, colour and sound. What they don't tell you in Instagram.. ๐ŸงŠ It's essentially a mirrored box but it's great, it's like walking into a giant kaleidoscope with a mesmerising soundtrack. ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ The interaction is very subtle and only works if you're standing closer to the back and probably the only one in the box. It picks up everyone's movements but relay is slow. ๐Ÿคน๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ It's busy and entrance is not timed or limited so avoid peak times for maximum enjoyment. The crowd does move on quite quickly, as soon as they get their IG worthy shot so you won't have to wait long for yours. ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป The floor is reflective so visitors wearing skirts/kilts are asked to preserve their modesty. ๐ŸŒˆ Most importantly, the exhibition contains flickering images which may trigger seizures but you can easily take a break and step outside of the box. ๐Ÿ“… There was some confusion over opening days but that was Monday & Tuesday so all fine for the remainder of the exhibition. Have you been and do you have any tips? ๐Ÿ“ 4 Cromwell Place, South Kensington, London, SW7 2JE ๐Ÿ†“ Free, booking required ๐Ÿ“… Until 25th September 2022 โฐ 10:00am-6:00pm Thu closes 10:00pm, Sun closes 4:00pm #intosight #sonydesign #ldf #londondesignfestival #light #installation #interactiveisntallation #popupslondon #ldf22 #reflection #infinityroom #kaleidoscope #cromwellplace #coolthingsfortinylondoners #freeeventslondon #freelondon #londonforkids #thingstodoinlondonwithkids #kidsingalleries #designforkids #learningthroughexperience #learningthroughplay #creativekids
