Deane Cameron Recording Studio campaign update! Friends of Deane Cameron have rallied together and donated over $1 million to honour the late Canadian music industry legend and Order of Canada recipient. Organized by Campaign Co-Chairs and close friends, Tim Trombley and David Munns. Leading the way on this initiative was Gary Slaight with a very generous donation and, together with Slaight Music President Derrick Ross, spearheaded a remarkable grassroots letter-writing initiative to his closest friends and colleagues. What is The Deane Cameron Recording Studio? A sanctuary of creativity – equal parts recording studio, rehearsal studio, and classroom. Perched at the top of Allied Music Centre on the 7th floor is the Deane Cameron Recording Studio, designed with artistic development in mind.
