On Tuesday, I took myself out to lunch at Elysian Cafe for my birthday and got the calamari “salad” and a glass of sauvy b. Later my sister sent me a picture from exactly a year ago and we were there having this salad 💀 I’ve been hyping up this salad for years now. It’s not even called a salad on the menu, actually. Which sort of makes sense because there’s way more calamari than greens. AND THAT’S HOW WE LIKE IT. Before I bought my current home, I lived right next door to Elysian for a bit and I loved it. It feels so cozy to me and my whole family has spent time there for special moments and just to hang. Am I really on paragraph four about a salad? YEAH.
