We’d be lion if we said this wasn’t cute. A hungry lioness at Shenyang zoo in Liaoning Province, China was caught on video attempting to snack on a toddler standing on the other side of the glassed enclosure. Footage taken at the zoo shows the unfazed baby positioned in front of a pair of adult lions ready to take a photo for his mother when the lioness raises her paws and bares her razor-sharp fangs, trying to snatch him through the thick dividing glass. The unaware little boy turns around and courageously places his hand up against the glass in front of the massive feline. Preciously, the female cat then seems to treat the child as a friend rather than prey when she is seen sniffing him and licking the glass as if she was grooming the young boy. #Lions
