Rossmoor - Our emergency command center received multiple calls for a fire in a home in the 3100 block of Donnie Ann Road at 11:59 p.m. last night. Firefighters found smoke showing from a large home that was hosting a party. Crews quickly deployed hose lines to stop the continued spread of the fire while ensuring everyone was out. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to get a knock down on the blaze that fire investigators determined to be accidental from a malfunctioning fireplace. We’re happy to report that no one was injured.
