For this Haircut, I am using my 8.5 inch Olivia Garden Carbon lite cutting comb @oliviagarden_int I love this comb for a lot of reasons. One of them being the no hair breakage design of the comb. Some combs have unfinished edges that can snag and pull the hair causing breakage. Also causing you to look like a stylist that purchase’s low quality tools that snag and cause breakage. After Establishing a solid perimeter, I wanted to add some layers to create movement and break up the one length feel. Because she has a ton of density, gravity is always pulling everything down. I took a large triangle section from the front hair line to the crown and said “Layers live here”. I began point cutting layers with my 6.5 inch Paragon II Masters Series @arcscissors Which are ideal for dry cutting and give me sharp clean lines every time.
