If it wasn’t for music my first love wdb art. Getting my fathers early 90’s works out of safekeep🗝 last weekend (👉🏻4) brought memories of me experiencing these freshly painted works as a child. Every place I’ve lived in - NY, London, Moscow, LA his art always surrounds me. It’s like that little piece of home that anchors me wherever I go. Most of his early works are in private collections and the @mmoma apart from a few I’ve managed to keep here in LA. Everytime I see them I’m instantly transported into my childhood @ruslangudievart Now in his 70s daddy still paints 8 hours a day.. he’s def the one I got my work ethic from😉 ...among other things that happened this week 🍤 #ruslangudiev
