Last night was an important night for me and for my husband. It was the first time we were hosting Thanksgiving dinner to both of our parents (who had only met once, the day we got married!) Having the opportunity to sit down to share a meal all together in the home we have slowly created was a dream I’ve always had and it finally came true. Knowing that so many queer people don’t have families that welcome them, I am extremely grateful that I get to share a holiday like this one with mine. The reason my home is so important to me is because it is the place I have created together with Andrew to be able to make these memories together here. I am thankful for everything I choose to have in my life and everything that life gives me every day. #thanksgiving #husbands #newhome
