The Klutch Kicker’s $100,000 Drift Series will not be coming back for 2023. This may come as a surprise for some, but we wanted to get this tough decision out there so you heard it from us directly. When we started the Drift Series, it was just an idea to bring change in the competition drifting industry. An idea that paid back drivers for being the face of the sport and for all of the time and money invested as individuals. Emerald Coast Dragway was the original home for the Series. Unfortunately, it was sold and we were forced to find a new home. We are super grateful for the Freedom Factory for offering their home for us for a season. We still had a blast of a year and we thank everyone for being a part of it. We as a team miss having a home track. A place to host competitions, as well as a place to host Fundays. Fundays were such a great way to bring everyone together to enjoy the greatest sport on earth in between the long competition weekends throughout the year. So, for 2023, we will be putting all of our efforts and resources into finding and building a track of our own!! It’s something we have been wanting to do, but the Drift Series takes all of our time up, as well as any capital. This will take a ton of time, effort, and money, so we want to spend 2023 in the direction we think is best for everyone long term.
