šŸ¾TIPS FOR BOTTLE POPPIN’⁠ Because as experts, we proclaim that every occasion deserves bubbly! (so you should know how to open it properly!)⁠ ⁠ 1. Make sure the bottle is chilled - 45deg to be exact. (Remember the ice bath tips! See our PSA post on the freezer warning!)⁠ ⁠ 2. Use a wine key to cut off all foil from bottle. Looks classier. ⁠ 3. Prep a napkin or towel to cover exposed cork once cage is ⁠removed.⁠ ⁠ 4. Remove cage but keep pressure on cork with your thumb. Corks can prematurely pop without warning.⁠ šŸ‘€āŒšŸ˜µ ⁠ 5. While holding cork with 1 hand, use the other hand to twist the bottle NOT the cork (make sure bottle is dry before twisting if you used an ice bath).⁠ ⁠ 6. Once bottle loosens from the cork and is spinning freely, SLOWLY pull the cork away from the bottle⁠ ⁠ 7. Now you can control how quickly the cork separates itself from the bottle and avoid breaking windows or eye sockets.⁠ ⁠ 8.
