My social media influencer/KOL career was an accident. — You can say that. I never expected to be one, nor was it an ambition. It started with sharing pearls of wisdom everyday. I love writing. And 1 impactful way for me to learn was to RESHARE what I learned (input output learning). And that was the start of my social media career. I’m an associate financial planner (AFPM) with 12 years of experience, I lead 2 agencies in 2 different companies but I also have ambassadorship jobs on the side. Years ago when the 1st offer kicked in, I asked brands why they picked me... other people have better pictures, poses, videos, more comical personality etc. In a way, I wanted to know how else can I improve my positive influence on social media. They answered, “Our brands & bosses love your personality & the spirit you carry” - So I thought about it.. PERSONALITY ? On social media ? But I thought people just like seeing photos ? And that’s when I realised, influencing is MORE than just nice photos. I was indirectly, LIFEFLUENCING (I should probably make that my thing, LifefluencerTM️ 🤣) And so, due to demands from beloved followers; which I’m grateful to get Alhamdulillah (sampai now I segan nak say “my followers” coz macam konon la known sangat 🫠) I present to you.. my very 1st seminar that’s open to public ☺️ ‘How to be a SUCCESSFUL Influencer, Leader & Coach’ with my dearest @drlawrencewalterng who had the most firm belief that I can share gems of knowledge to people outside my agency.
