2024. What a beautiful year. We experienced so many firsts together from being a first-time author to going on television, hosting a movie premiere, recruiting all my friends to be hand models in my videos, and more. Here are my favorite moments (but I wish I could post them all) January - Galentine’s Day -my absolute favorite with all the pink and frills. I hope to continue my annual Galentine’s for many years to come. February - Dune is one of my favorite movies. Being able to host the screening of Dune 2 with Warner Brothers was perfect. I never thought that all my interests could merge together so beautifully. March - Noodle making. April - Hosted my first apartment coffeeshop. It was supposed to be a picnic but it was pouring. And all things happen for a reason. And as a result of that - May - I went on live TV for the first time (but not the last this year) with NBC! June - Bridgerton Party. What a memorable dinner party. July - The Little Picnic Book was released! I wrote this book in secret for two years. Every weekend was spent on it. It’s my baby and one of my proudest achievements. August - I had the opportunity to work with BH + Fujifilm. As a professional video director, I always felt that the gap between a polished production with a 20+ person film crew and the quick videos shot on a phone was too wide to bridge. For a long time, I didn’t even try to close that gap so I defaulted to shooting with my phone. And don’t get me wrong it’s wonderful. But this collab + camera reminded me how much fun the creative process can be. September - Went to New York Fashion Week. It’s been a bucket list of mine. It was so inspirational being able to experience it as a creator. October - The busiest month. Balancing my day job and filming was challenging. I would shoot after work or on the weekends in batches. And this month led me to start thinking about hiring.. November - Which I definitely did in November. It was wonderful to work on so many campaigns! Which leads us to now. December - I said exactly one year ago that I wanted to become a tablescape artist. And now looking back- I think we did it.
