9•14•21 After being closed for 552 days, Broadway re-opened! Oh, what a celebration we had! I am sharing some video diary moments that were originally filmed for the @broadwayrisingfilm. For me, they are sweet little glimpses into that day one year ago. I remember... waking up at 5:30 am with the little man @wilcomoffett (who was only 4 months old), spending the day with my parents, @ericwillmoffett being the world’s best hubs as per usual, running through dress rehearsal notes with my dad, riding into the city with the awesome documentary team, @meredithtoering helping me pick up ALL the goodies (macaroons + champagne!), pre-show press and backstage shenanigans with green queen @lindsayheatherpearce , warming up with @deric_rosenblatt, @samgravitte with all the half hour words of encouragement and snuggles, @maryspacekate in her perfect bubble dress blue with the whole fam in tow, the crew of friends and fam that flew from TN + TX + CA + more, my backstage dream team @traceykdiebold & @mkyb_nyc 💗, shedding a tear of JOY with @kchenoweth backstage before climbing into the bubble, @danmicciche directing every note with precision and grace, that electric audience, the FLOWERS, curtain call x2 with Stephen Schwartz, hugs from @joshpultz, @lumafestival snagging the most precious pics and never missing an opening night, celebrating with @doublenamewitches students and squeezing some for the first time!, NYT’s best selling author @anniefdowns giving a heartfelt post-show toast 🥂, waking up the next day and getting to do it again. TWICE ☺️ Love you, @wicked_musical . Congrats on being re-opened for one year 💚
