Puerto Rico never recovered from the devastation of Hurricane Maria in 2017. In fact, less than 25% of the recovery work is complete. Now, the island is completely flooded and without electricity AGAIN. Bridges are being washed away by floods. All of Puerto Rico — every town, neighborhood, house — is without power. That’s 1.4 million households. Almost 200,000 people have no access to clean water. The U.S. only gave the U.S. territory 2/3 of what it needed for repairs after Hurricane Maria.
