Since taking a break from baking and posting, there have been several changes. A very special change in our family has been the birth of our baby girl in April. Our little family has been adjusting and enjoying all the baby cuddles. There is also lots of changes in our garden with several plants blooming. One plant in particular has become one of my favorites and is also native to the Sierra Nevada foothills. The Carpenteria californica (bush anemone).
