PHANTOM HAIRLINE + BLACK RAIN TECHNIQUE
Broken hairline - Healed/detailed - dilution 1:30
White hair, don’t care 🏴☠️
So few things to say about this case, sure think isn’t an easy one, so :
When the look is natural plus light case , it must be undetectable , so only fine class eyes will notice and appreciate it the way I appreciate this style.
The client has some bad damaged skin on the scalp and freckles , I don’t bled them as I think it is more natural and plus “ sun damages “ will change shape ( so pointless to cover them ) and about freckles if you wanna cover them then you should need to use a darker colour or higher density , which I don’t like and it is not required , and again I think that to leave them visible it makes it more natural.
The Blending needs to be done perfectly or it will be a lot visible , remember most of the time it feels like we are blending into nothing ( yes that’s crazy right ? ) .
Make sure you choose wisely the dilution, based as well on the way you manage your hands, I’d say start super light ( ex. dilution with 1:30 with @pygmenta_ink ,just like this case ) and build the amp gradually over the sessions.
Dots are important but also gaps are equally important.
Last, but not least, I always make sure that the client will UNDERSTAND that the result will be light*** as we are replicating his existing hair, and again this is a light Fitzpatrick scenario. So if the clients wants something darker , what I do is : I offer him a full Head SMP , just like if he had full alopecia, this will allow us to select a darker colour ( no matter his original hair colour ) BUT I don’t push too much the sale because when it comes to full alopecia, the amount of work is double and so is the price .
Ps. Remember always to rely first on your hands and than on your tools .
Next class: Tampa, Florida.
Peace.
