The sale presented a vivid picture of contemporary art from Africa and the diaspora with proceeds benefiting charitable partners including The Africa Centre, The African Arts Trust, Bët-bi, Gasworks & Triangle Network, and The Lamu Environmental Foundation (LEF). The sale was led by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye’s Highpower (£1,482,000), which realised the fourth highest price at auction for the artist.
