Happy New Year and a few updates! 👇 Hi 👋 friends! 2023 was one hell of a year filled with many big events, opportunities I never dreamed possible, and … NEW FRIENDS! So whether you’ve been following me for awhile or if you’ve somehow stumbled upon this account thanks to the algorithmic powers that be, know that I am so happy you’re here and grateful to have you be a part of this wine-drinking community. So with that in mind, I’d like to re-introduce myself and give you a little insight into what you can expect in the new year. 👋 About Me: I’m a Philly born 🦅 fan, 👠 obsessed, champagne and 🍿 lover. Also I believe Succession was the greatest show on tv but also I’m obsessed w/Love is Blind 🤷🏼‍♀️ Who I Am and What I Do I’m a certified sommelier - but no longer a practicing one in a restaurant. After about a decade working the floor as a somm at restaurants in NYC and Napa Valley (most recently at Press), this is now my full-time gig! I still have a hard time explaining to people who ask what it is exactly that I do but essentially I’m a wine-focused content creator, media personality and speaker. Once upon a time I dreamed up a job that would allow me to drink great wine, eat great food, explore the world, and tap into my creative side and while it took me MANY years to get to this point, I am VERY lucky to be living out my dream life. What you can expect You can always expect to learn about 🍷, but this is also very much about living your best “Bon vivant” life. I’ll teach you how to enjoy wine, introduce you to new bottlings, regions, and products, and show you how learning about wine can be so much more than reading 📚. Sure theres a few rules that are helpful to know, but my goal here is to help you find your own path - not recreate mine. Coming up: With many of you taking a break for dry Jan and planning vacations, I’ll be focusing this month on wine travel!
