My little ones weren’t born when the Sept 11 attack happened in America, but #UncleDJ took them to the 9/11 memorial last year to pay respects and learn about this moment in our history. I remember it well. Some of y’all, like me, remember where you were ... what you were doing ... the confusion, the fear, the worry for our loved ones, and the devastation we felt knowing (and even watching) what happened. May we always honor the courageous among us, those who endured, as well as those who lost their lives. And today, I hope we remember how hate, discrimination and war (even among ourselves here at home) can lead to destruction and pain. I’m holding onto HOPE for better days. #NeverForget #911
