RIP their skin barrier 🪦 please disregard all product directions that tell you to use glycolic acid (or any exfoliating acid product) every single day. Unless your skin is veeeery accustomed to daily acid use this is a recipe for disaster. You do not, I repeat, do not need to be exfoliating daily. Once to twice a week is more than fine and if you’re regularly using retinol/al it might even be less! Possibly using a very low strength product like a cleanser with acids could be ok, but again, listen to your skin. Redness, flaking, irritation?
