I’ve always wanted to do a fun mosaic inlay. We touched on something more practical than wood for the front entry and the idea of color - what the heck does that mean in an old house! Well we took a traditional mini hex but didn’t do black and white but found a fun sky blue color with rich glazed color variation.⁠ ⁠ We did SO many layouts trying to figure out the scale of the numbers and letters. I brought them to the site numerous times and on one of the days did a little on the fly marking up with markers and we had our layout!
