I watched many of my close friends join sororities and thrive, but I still had reservations about the idea for myself. I feared I wouldn’t fit in, or would have to change who I was to feel like I belonged. What was so refreshing about Gamma Phi Beta, however, was that it was the complete opposite of this. The only initial experiences I had in the house and amongst the girls was so genuine and real, and I surprised myself with how open and relaxed I felt there. After joining, my love for gphi and all of the girls in it has only continued to grow. The more people I meet, the more I feel at home and as if I am with my family.
