Throughout spring and summer this year I’ve been spotting Blue Jay’s visiting my yard each morning. It’s been a lot of fun watching them with my son, seeing his eyes light up when they fly in. I took this photo this morning of one of their discarded feathers laying on the flagstone, I love the banded patterns and sapphire blue iridescence.
