Happy New Year folks 💖 Honestly I wasn’t sure about making one of these, because underneath it all it’s been a bit of a difficult year. I battled in silence with my depression, my family said our final goodbyes to my Grannie and then later in the year we lost my Grandpa. At the core I really thought it had been a terrible year, but then I went back through my camera roll and found all of these wonderful memories I had almost forgotten about. The highlights that reminded me there can still be light even in the dark times. Of course, I still kept in some of those sad and raw moments here to keep it real because life isn’t always so sparkly 100% of the time. And social media has a way of making us believe that everyone is living their best lives all of the time, when in fact we’re just seeing the highlights in between all the messy parts. But all in all this recap has been cathartic for me in making me realise I actually did have some rather wonderful moments in 2022 after all. So here’s to 2023, another year of life.
