This is me all day. I'm not apologizing for my dopeness, ambition, success, and drive. That's Mutually Inclusive of my desire to be held accountable, the joy I have in being generous and connected to others, and my fierce thirst for learning and growing. People get that confused with women. We're only allowed to be/spoken of as being an "ambitious b*^%ch." I'm not even trying to reclaim that term. I've been told I have too much testosterone or masculine energy because I'm direct and clear- and I don't have to blink when I'm in the arena. How about- I'm just more female than you're equipped to deal with. Even other women may dish out layers/horizontal violence because I'm not playing "the role" we're expected to play. One of my favorite and, I think, a most accurate description of me is from my friend @brenebrown: generous and fierce. Stop apologizing or feeling sad about your brilliance, and backbone.
