General Expenses is pleased to announce ‘On the Other Side of Bloom, a show by Pandora Graessl @_pandorama Opening on February 5th, Mazatlan 57, Condesa Tuesdays to Sundays 11am-7pm Until March 7th On the Other Side of Bloom is Pandora Graessl’s second solo exhibition in Mexico City. As in previous projects, the installation brings together sound, visual, sculptural, and poetic elements, forming a journey dedicated to a constellation of works that captivate us as a renewed vanitas. Graessl has created a series of floral vessels that dwell in the fragile space between life and death. These assemblages reaffirm the transient nature of what they contain—approached almost like a scientific dissection (with the aid of what she calls “scanographies”)—while simultaneously reiterating a mythical dimension that allows us to understand this threshold within the act of blooming.
