Custom for @iamcardib 💎 • • “Team work makes the dream work” took on a whole new meaning this week. A wild 24 hour turn around for 3 separate pieces I contributed to this look for @iamcardib ‘s dirty 30 cabaret themed event Tuesday. 🥂 • • I customized a pair of @renecaovilla heels with @swarovski stones. These stones had to be broken down from a necklace setting into single pieces and then attached to a .25 inch strip that wrapped around her ankle. A big challenge when not working with a flat back stone, a surface that was not flat, and stones that were larger than the strip they were attached to. All to give a “dangling” effect. 💎 • • I then added the same exact stones to the metal wire frame for the headpiece. This was even more challenging than the shoes with the size, weight, and backing of the stones on thin, round, metal wiring. After I finished with the stones, I attached about 30 super fluffy ostrich plumes in red to match the look ❤️‍🔥 • • For the last part- I took sheer red gauntlet gloves and sprinkled red crystals up the arm and used the last of the @swarovski stones along the upper part of the glove to tie it all in. 💎 • • Getting a chance to collaborate with the other artists that helped this look happen was such a wonderful experience. Everyone was so supportive, chill, and amazing at what they do. Getting to work with @kollincarter after following his work the last few years was such a blessing. Continuing to push and challenge myself more than ever.
