episode 12 of ‘make it heart healthy’ is a veggie burger in a lettuce wrap 🍔🥬 there are so many variations you could make with this, but this one is my favorite! try the recipe below. hope you love it ♥️ recipe (makes 1 serving) 1. heat a pan with olive oil spray and add 1/4 loosely chopped onion and 2-3 sliced shiitake mushrooms 2. saute with a pinch of black pepper and red pepper flakes for 3-5 mins until onion is translucent and mushrooms are browned 3. to the other side of the pan add a defrosted veggie burger of your choosing with 1 slice of swiss cheese 4. cook until the swiss cheese is melted and then remove from heat 5. build your burger by laying down a 16x16” sheet of parchment paper 6. lay flat 3-4 slices of lettuce and top with 1 tbsp @BITCHIN’ SAUCE spread into a thin layer 7. next add the veggie burger, and then the mushrooms and onions 8. top with a slice of tomato and any other additions you like 9. finally, add 3-4 more slices of lettuce to the top of your veggie burger 10. wrap everything in parchment paper to keep in place for eating, and enjoy! #miga #hearthealthyrecipes #veggieburgers #lettucewraps #swissandmushroom #makeithearthealthy
