This dome hanging shade, c. 1905, once graced the dining room at Louis Comfort Tiffany's (1848–1933) Long Island Estate, Laurelton Hall. It is created with more than 5,000 individual pieces of glass, measures 5 1/2 feet in diameter, and weighs close to 100 pounds.
