Surprise! I adopted Honeydew’s biological brother, Smokey. I was randomly looking at a local dachshund rescue and there he was! It felt like fate that I randomly checked that rescue that day! I immediately called the rescue and put in an application. Within the next 48 hours, he came home! He is definitely a bit skittish but he’ll come around, I’m sure of it! He’s 4 years old and has the same parents as Honeydew from an earlier litter. So now the family consists of @hollyandhazelnut, Honeydew and Smokey🤍
