✨On Wednesday 13th July, I’m hosting a special edition of S3x Talks @londonedition which will be raising money for the @abortionsupportnetwork. ✨The first part of the evening will be a letters live style segment, during which the dreamiest line-up of humans will be reading aloud a letter exploring what their body means to them. The repealing of Roe V Wade has thrown into sharp focus the subject of bodily autonomy, and throughout the evening we’re going to dig into what that really means to all of us. During this discussion we’ll delve into the myriad ways in which we all make positive impact within our sphere of influence, what it really means to be an ally, and how to marry purpose with business to make the change you wanna see. I’m so excited to announce my first panellist, actor @willpoulter, who has been using his voice and platform to support campaigns around domestic violence, gender inequality, racism and more. In our pre-interview chat today he described ally-ship as a verb, rather than ‘ally’ as a noun- because, he said, it’s something you’re always working on, as you try and educate yourself on the perspectives and experiences of others, and fix the many blind spots that privilege invariably creates.
