Montclair (2016-2021) Tyler Chan Montclair is the suburban city of New Jersey where I spent my 4 years attending high school. Great education systems and diversity are advertised as the main reasons for families to raise children in this place. Despite all the promises on the surface, as a student surrounded by all the peers I chose to be with during school, I experienced the inside perspectives of how some Montclairians really spend their time after class. From aspiring rapper video shoots to in-class romances, I documented the true experience of mine during my teens in the famous suburb of Montclair. We all started out together in Kindergarten. There were opportunities for everyone to join drama club, any of the many sports teams, become a hypebeast or get into the scene of music, and much more.
