DYING over this copper red on @flanneryunderwood 🪩🪩🪩

She wanted a lighter solid coppery red but didn’t want it to look “highlighted”
So normally you would lift/redden the base color to make something look more solid and less light and dark. BUT she really wanted something more low maintenance. Pairing a hair color with my clients lifestyle is always a factor.
So no permanent base color, I just used her natural color (which you can swipe and see before). This way she doesn’t have a brown line of demarcation (roots) in 4 weeks.
First I tightly highlighted her all over to create more of a solid look. Then layered glosses on her roots and then all over to really make it pop! This is my favorite way to make someone red that doesn’t want to be committed to getting their hair done all the time 🧡
