Thank you Dan Graham ✨ When I was 19 years old, studying design and cinema in Bogotá I got very interested into early video art. One day in the library Luis Ángel Arango I discovered Dan Graham’s works, I was fascinated, intrigued and obsessed with it. This encounter with his strategies, flexibility, reflexions about time, performance, language, image, music, landscape and architecture changed my mind completely and opened to me the idea of work in the arts. I got to meet Dan Graham briefly a couple of times in the past years, pretty much a hello and goodbye situation, enough to feel again that 19 years old electric sensation I had when I first got to learn about his work.
