As Queer people we are intrinsically introspective, curious and perceptive. We are constantly growing, educating ourselves, learning and unlearning. ⁣ ⁣ Communication is essential for us as a community and for society as a whole. Connection and education are two of the most wonderful and important factors of being alive. They’re also fundamental to our survival. ⁣ ⁣ Throughout lockdown we may have individually felt the affects of isolation and solitude, yet as a community we have come together and grown even stronger. We must continue support and uplift each other, especially those most at risk. Our Black Trans+ and Non-Binary siblings need us to continue the work in fighting for Trans Rights (basic Human Rights), and actively engaging as anti-racists. We need to use our privilege and open minds to educate ourselves and share resources. ⁣ ⁣ Communication is one of the most beautiful things about being alive, so let’s use it to the best of our ability so that both during lockdown and forever into the future, we continue to value our connection, uplift one another and through this - the Queer community will continue to thrive.
